1.向/etc/apt/sources.list添加:deb http://www.beerorkid.com/compiz edgy main-edgy
2.添加key:wget http://www.beerorkid.com/compiz/quinn.key.asc -O - | sudo apt-key add -
3.安装 nvidia官方驱动sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx运行glxgears,检查驱动是否安装正确。4.安装必要的包:sudo apt-get install compiz compiz-gnome xserver-xgl xserver-xorg libgl1-mesa-glx libglitz-glx1 cgwd cgwd-themes
5.编辑 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 注释掉GLcore 和 dri# Load "GLcore"

Load "glx"
启动3D加速Section "Device"
Identifier- leave this line alone!

添加扩展Section "Extensions"

6.编辑/etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom ：# GDM Configuration Customization file.

7.运行 选择 System->Preferences->Sessions，在Startup Programs中添加 /usr/bin/compiz-start 重启系统。
